Another Company is shutdown in the Philippines

As I browse yahoo news this day. It caught my attention about the Ford Philippines, that they are suspending operations due to unexpected shortage of supplies from their company in Japan.

This is another impact to the economy of the Philippines. Because of the Government policy on business. Our business counter part in other countries, will likely to go somewhere to find much better government that protect them from any unpreventable consequences of their business.

What really the government plan to this country?

  1. Hmm... that is sad news...

But I suppose this is more an effect of natural disaster that happened in Japan recently which is unexpected. The problem is in Japan and not in Philippines or the Philippines' policy. At least that is how I understand it from the limited info.

Hopefully, the company offered assistance or alternatives to their employees in the Philippines during the time they are suspending operations, and hopefully it won't be long until they resume operations.

What the government can do in the meantime, is also offer assistance to the said employees if the company can not do it.
